International Students

Baruch College, recognized as the most ethnically diverse campus in the nation, warmly welcomes international students to our New York City campus. We are located in the heart of the city that is both beautiful and the safest large city in the United States.

At the Division of Continuing and Professional Studies (CAPS), our welcome is extended through two comprehensive programs of full-time study designed to satisfy I-20 and F-1 student visa eligibility requirements:
The Center for English Language provides a range of programs specially designed to meet our students' academic, professional, and social needs.

We offer three I-20/F1 visa eligible programs:

  • Academic Intensive English Program
  • ESL Test Prep (Intensive TOEFL, GMAT, and GRE)
  • English Express

    • Classes meet 20 hours per week. Students receive academic and immigration counseling, student activities and support services, field trips, and access to the university library, computer labs, and gym.
    The certificate in Contemporary American Business Practices is ideal for individuals who want to become familiar with the processes, routines, and practices of modern business.

    Upon successful completion of the CABP program, eligible students may receive assistance in obtaining employment or practical training. Authorization for employment is not guaranteed.
