International Students

Baruch College, recognized as the most ethnically diverse campus in the nation, warmly welcomes international students to our New York City campus. We are located in the heart of the city that is both beautiful and the safest large city in the United States.

At the Division of Continuing and Professional Studies (CAPS), our welcome is extended through two comprehensive programs of full-time study designed to satisfy I-20 and F-1 student visa eligibility requirements:
The Center for English Language at Baruch College's Division of Continuing and Professional Studies offers a range of programs specially designed to meet our students' academic, professional and social needs. We offer three I-20 Visa eligible programs which are AIEP (Academic Intensive English Program), English Express, and ESL Test Prep. Students in this program receive 20 hours per week of core instruction in writing, reading, listening and speaking. Students also choose a daytime elective from a unique menu of courses including, grammar, TOEFL preparation, public speaking, pronunciation.
The certificate in Contemporary American Business Practices is ideal for individuals who want to become familiar with the processes, routines, and practices of modern business. You may choose from one of these tracks: Finance, Management, Marketing, International Trade (Import/Export), and Accounting. Upon successful completion of the CABP program, eligible students may receive assistance in obtaining employment or practical training. Authorization for employment is not guaranteed.
