Copy Machine

Whenever possible, instructors are asked to send course materials to students via email.

Instructors are provided with each student’s email address on the class roster, sent to instructors the day before class begins. (If email addresses are required earlier than this date, please contact Academic Operations.)

A photocopy machine is provided for the convenience of Baruch CAPS instructors in the faculty lounge, room 1107 at 17 Lexington Avenue. Please contact Academic Operations for the entry key code. Each instructor receives an allotment of 1000 sheets (two reams) of paper per course.

Academic Operations will assign a copy machine access code to each instructor. Please do not share your code with anyone else. Because of limited staffing, the Faculty Services staff is not available to copy material for instructors, so instructors should plan accordingly. (Please note that the copy machine in the CAPS main office is for administrative staff use only.)

The Baruch College Office of Purchasing and Administrative Services maintains a Copy Center on the 1st floor of 55 Lexington Avenue. This facility will perform course-related photocopying for instructors, if materials are submitted two (2) weeks in advance. To use this service, instructors must bring their materials to the Faculty Services office, complete a Graphic Arts Request Form and obtain an authorized signature from Baruch CAPS Academic Operations. When copies are completed, they may be retrieved from the copy center. Instructors are expected to comply with copyright infringement laws. The Copy Center can assist with information regarding copyright issues, as required.
