For those who plan on going to graduate school, we offer a range of test preparation courses to help you meet your educational and professional goals. Class instruction is individualized to help you maximize your test scores. Review classes, such as Math Review and Verbal Review also help students relearn and refresh their basic skills without the added stress of studying test-taking strategies.

Among our most popular test preparation courses are GMAT and GRE preparation. Unlike most test prep centers, the Center for Test Preparation at Baruch College’s Division of Continuing and Professional Studies separates GMAT and GRE preparation into Math and Verbal classes. We do this for several reasons. First, we only want students to register for the classes that they need. Students are encouraged to take one of our free diagnostic tests before enrolling in any GMAT or GRE class. Based on the diagnostic test, you may discover that your verbal score is high. This means that you might not need to take a Verbal Preparation class. On the other hand, you may also learn that your math score is weak. In that case, you should take a Math Preparation class. For those who need to take GMAT Math and Verbal Test Preparation or GRE Math and Verbal Test Preparation, a significant discount is offered. Second, GMAT Math and GRE Math Test Preparation courses are taught by math experts while GMAT Verbal and GRE Verbal Test Preparation courses are taught by English experts. We have found that students benefit more greatly by having instructors who are knowledgeable, experienced and confident in their respective skill areas.
