Teen Programs

Baruch College’s Division of Continuing and Professional Studies hosts a number of quality programs, which are especially designed to meet the academic, social and personal needs of teens, 13-18. Our Teen Language Intensive and Test Preparation Programs provide instruction to help teens develop their skills in a fun and highly challenging environment. Materials, books and activities are geared for the young adult audience, motivating students to learn even on the hottest or coldest of days.Centrally located in the popular Gramercy Park neighborhood, Baruch College offers a safe, vibrant, and well-respected educational environment. The campus is easily accessible by subway or bus. Students have access to the school computer and language labs, pool and gym.

Our faculty members are experts in their respective fields, hold advanced degrees and have a great deal of teaching experience. They utilize the most current teaching methodology, integrating course content, technology and interactive activities to make lessons challenging and fun.

Getting into college has become more competitive than ever. Baruch College’s Division of Continuing and Professional Studies Teen Language Intensive and Test Preparation Programs give students an opportunity to get ahead at a very reasonable price.


Programs

Teen Language Intensives
Get ready for a fun and challenging experience! Study English, French, Italian, Mandarin, Russian or a Spanish. Our Teen Language Intensives offer quality instruction in language, culture and history to teens, ages, 13-18. Our 3-Week Teen Summer Language Intensive program meets 20 hours per week. (This is a great alternative to camp.) Our 8-week Teen Saturday Language Intensive program meets 3 hours per week. Courses range from level 1 (beginner) to level 4 (advanced). Develop your language skills while preparing for college and travel.


Test Preparation for High School and College
Baruch College’s Division of Continuing and Professional Studies offers a range of test preparation courses for teens, including ACT Preparation, SAT Preparation, SAT II Preparation, and the New York City Specialized High School Exam Preparation. Our test preparation classes for teens provide skills review, test-taking tips and strategies, extensive practice exercises and diagnostic tests in a challenging and interactive environment. Classes tend to be small so students receive a great deal of individualized attention and instruction.
