The Newman Institute Certificate Program offers a comprehensive program to meet the needs of those entering or advancing within the real estate profession. The program's core curriculum includes: real estate finance, law, valuation, market analysis and development. It provides the opportunity to focus on specific areas such as affordable housing, property management, development, capital markets, or construction management.

Our expanded course offerings also include a new concentration on "green" buildings and sustainability. Those already involved in one aspect of real estate can learn new skills, ranging from capital markets to title closing, to enhance their careers. For students with other backgrounds, including advanced education in non-real estate fields, the Certificate Program will ease the transition into real estate and help you become astute investors and practitioners.

The highly flexible Real Estate Certificate Program is used by a rangeof students seeking to meet New York State license and continuingeducation requirements for Salespersons, Brokers and Appraisers.
