This combination of Affordable Housing and Nonprofit Development (NCPEL14)
and Environmental and Planning Issues in Real Estate (NCPEL20) into one comprehensive course will cover many aspects of development, such as development process, financing, subsidies, environment issues, management structure and planning, and community involvement. This course will be particularly aimed at those who develop affordable housing in New York City, whether working for nonprofits, governmental agencies or private firms. Those working with nonprofits affiliated with the Local Initiative Support Corporation (LISC) may be eligible for partial scholarship.
