This course provides an understanding of construction methods, building systems, and materials and equipment selection. It provides the construction manager with the knowledge required to effectively communicate with the various design and construction entities on a project, as well as to perform other project management tasks, including cost estimating, planning and scheduling. Topics include MEP and material descriptions, specifications and usage, construction techniques, and optimal economic selection of construction resources.
