More and more colleges are requiring students to take the ACT test, an entrance exam that includes English (punctuation, grammar and usage, sentence structure, essay organization, style and strategy), reading comprehension (direct and implied meanings in passages), math (basic formulas and computational skills) and science (interpretation, analysis, evaluation, reasoning and problem-solving).
