This certificate prepares you for an MBA or for a career in Finance, Accounting or Management. Designed for individuals who want to become familiar with the processes, routines and practices of modern business, this program is relevant for domestic and international students who are interested in beginning (or enhancing) a career in business, preparing for business school, or want an introduction to the world of business. All classes meet Monday-Thursday evenings. For international students, this full-time, 18-hour-per-week program meets the requirements for an I-20 Certificate of Eligibility, and allows students to apply for an F-1 student visa. Upon successful completion of this program, students may apply for Optional Practical Training (OPT), temporary employment directly related to the student's field of study. Students must contact their International Student Advisor (ISO) to discuss eligibility to engage in OPT, as well as the steps that must be taken to request approval from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Authorization for OPT is not guaranteed. Books and materials (approximately $600/not included in tuition).
