Forensic Accounting

In recent years, there has been a growing demand for the forensic accounting specialty. Forensic accountants perform corporate investigations, review financial statements for indicators of problems, provide litigation support and aid in the prevention of financial reporting fraud.

The instructors in our forensic accounting courses are experienced professionals in the areas of investigative accounting, fraud examination, and financial statement analysis.  They bring a wealth of real-world scenarios into the classrooms that provoke conversations about ethics, regulations, auditing techniques, forensics, investigating and reporting fraud, and more.

Baruch College, located in New York City - the financial capital of the world – is an undisputed leader in teaching standard accounting practices. We continue to remain on the cutting edge of the field—for example, by adding instruction in fraud and ethics to our industry-driven curriculum.
