Adults aged 55 and over will perform specific exercises that target the problem areas of the mature body, such as the hips, stomach, and joints. Students will work at their own pace and receive individual instruction on stretching and working with weights.

The Yang-style standard form of Tai-Chi Chuan consists of 24 simple postures. Students will learn techniques of stretching, breathing, and the concentration of the mind and body. Long-term practice of this martial art can help strengthen the body and restore health. This form (or style) differs from others but remains within the framework of basic Tai-Chi principles and I-Ching theory.

This is an ancient system of exercise that develops strength, flexibility and balance of body and mind. Relaxation and meditation for mental health, yogic postures or asanaa (in Sanskrit) for physical health and proper breathing (or pranayama) for obtaining energy will be the focus.
